Golf Beside a
Natural Wonder.
Iguazú is unlike every other destination in the AGA portfolio. This is not primarily a golf trip — it is access to one of the most extraordinary natural spectacles on the planet, with golf as part of the itinerary. We say that upfront because it is the honest reason to come here.
275 Waterfalls. 2.7 Kilometres Wide. Nothing Prepares You.
Iguazú Falls are the largest waterfall system in the world — wider than Niagara, taller than Victoria. 275 individual falls across a 2.7km arc of the Iguazú River. From inside the National Park, at the walkways above the Devil's Throat, the scale of what you are standing beside does not register immediately. Then it does. That moment is why international travelers fly 10 hours to get here.
Championship Golf in the Jungle. 18 Holes. Electric Cart.
Iguazú Golf Club sits on the Brazilian side of the falls — an 18-hole championship layout set within the Atlantic Forest, designed for year-round play in subtropical conditions. The best golf course in the Iguazú region, coordinated by AGA with electric cart and private transfer. A round here completes the program — the kind of golf story that needs no embellishment when told back home.
Both Sides.
Neither Optional.
The Argentine side puts you inside the falls. The Brazilian side shows you the full scale from across the canyon. Both visits are in every AGA Iguazú program — because seeing only one is seeing half the story.
Argentine Side — The Devil's Throat
The Argentine side of the park puts you on elevated walkways that extend directly above and alongside the falls — including the Devil's Throat, the most powerful single waterfall in the system. You are not looking at the falls from across a valley. You are standing on them. Gran Meliá Iguazú guests access the trails directly from the hotel grounds, before the public arrives.
Brazilian Side — The Complete Picture
The Brazilian side gives you the view that no photograph fully captures — the entire horseshoe of falls from the opposite bank, the full scale of the system visible at once. From Argentina you are inside the falls. From Brazil you see what you were inside. Both perspectives are necessary. AGA coordinates the border crossing, entry tickets, private guide, and transfers for the Brazil side visit as standard.
18 Holes in
the Atlantic Forest.
The best golf course in the Iguazú region — jungle fairways, subtropical conditions, and a round that no golfer back home will have played.
Iguazú Golf Club
A full 18-hole championship layout set within the Atlantic Forest on the Brazilian side of the falls. The best and only serious golf course in the Iguazú region — subtropical conditions year-round, wide fairways cut through native jungle vegetation, and a setting that makes it impossible to concentrate entirely on the scorecard. Electric cart included, private transfer from hotel coordinated by AGA.
Gran Meliá Iguazú.
The Only Hotel Inside the Park.
The Gran Meliá Iguazú is the only 5-star hotel on the Argentine side located inside Iguazú National Park — directly on the falls. The infinity pool overlooks the Devil's Throat. The trails to the walkways begin at the hotel grounds. Named Best Hotel in Argentina for three consecutive years by the World Travel Awards.
"Guests of the Gran Meliá access the park trails before the public arrives. There is no crowd. There is no rush. Just the falls, the mist, and the sound of 275 waterfalls from your hotel terrace."
The location is the argument. No transfer to the park in the morning, no queuing at the entrance, no racing against the crowds. You wake up inside one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. That is not a marketing claim — it is the physical address of the hotel.

Iguazú Works One
Way in Particular.
Iguazú is the most natural extension of a Buenos Aires program in the AGA portfolio. Your group has played Jockey Club and experienced the private club circuit — then they fly two hours northeast to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The contrast between the old-money city golf and the raw scale of the falls is exactly the kind of range that makes an Argentina trip unforgettable.
As a standalone, Iguazú works for groups where not everyone is a serious golfer — the falls are the primary draw, and the golf is a genuinely exceptional addition that most Iguazú visitors never experience.
Iguazú Only · 4 Nights
Both sides of the falls, 18 holes at Iguazú Golf Club, Gran Meliá inside the park. The complete Iguazú experience — for groups where the natural wonder is the primary destination.
Buenos Aires + Iguazú · 11 Nights
Jockey Club and the Buenos Aires private golf circuit, then Iguazú Falls. Old-money city clubs followed by the world's largest waterfall system. Two Argentinas, one itinerary.
Buenos Aires + Iguazú + Salta
The complete northeast Argentine experience. Buenos Aires prestige golf, Iguazú natural wonder, Salta altitude golf and Cafayate wine country. Built for groups with 14+ days.
"You wake up at Gran Meliá and walk to the Devil's Throat before anyone else arrives. That afternoon you play 18 holes in the Atlantic Forest."
No other golf destination in the world puts these two things in the same day. The most powerful waterfall on the planet in the morning. Jungle golf in the afternoon. Iguazú is the chapter of the Argentina trip that makes everyone else at the table put down their cutlery to listen.

Choose Iguazú.
"More than just golf — a highlight of the entire trip. World-class service, a stunning course in the jungle, and the falls from the hotel pool. We've done Pebble and Bandon. Neither produced a story like this."
Juri T. · Netherlands · Buenos Aires + Iguazú program · Verified client
"We walked to the Devil's Throat at 7am before anyone else was in the park. That access alone — through the Gran Meliá — justified the hotel. Then golf in the afternoon. Extraordinary day."
8-person group · Atlanta, Georgia · Iguazú standalone · 4 nights
"Three non-golfers in our group. Iguazú was the destination that required no negotiation whatsoever. Everyone came for the falls. Everyone played golf. Nobody expected the day to end the way it did."
10-person group · Toronto, Canada · Buenos Aires + Iguazú · 11 nights
The Questions
We Answer Every Week.
Is the golf good enough to justify the trip?
Iguazú is the only destination in the AGA portfolio where we answer this question honestly: the falls are the primary reason to come. The golf at Iguazú Golf Club is genuinely excellent — 18 holes in the Atlantic Forest is a remarkable experience — but nobody comes to Iguazú for golf alone. They come for the falls and play golf because AGA makes it easy and worth it.
Why stay at Gran Meliá instead of a hotel in town?
The Gran Meliá is the only hotel inside the National Park on the Argentine side. Your group walks to the falls from the hotel grounds. You access the trails before the park opens to the public. The infinity pool overlooks the Devil's Throat. A hotel in town means a 20-minute transfer every morning. That is not the same experience — and for a group at this level, it is not the right choice.
Can we add Iguazú to a Buenos Aires program?
Yes — and it is the most natural extension in the portfolio. Jockey Club and the Buenos Aires private circuit, then two hours northeast by air to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The contrast is exactly what makes an Argentina itinerary memorable. Most groups who add Iguazú say it was the best decision of the trip planning process.
